Flowers: 3-5/lax cluster, open funnel-shaped, 32 x 38mm, with 5 wavy-edged lobes, deep yellowish pink in bud,
opening vivid red, shading to strong pink in throat, with a vivid red spotting on the dorsal lobe.
Calyx 3mm long.
April/May.
Foliage: elliptic, 30 x 14mm, flat, acute at apex, cuneate at base, dull moderate olive green above,
moderate yellow-green below, with tiny, closely spaced scales.
10 year height/spread: 0.3m/0.4m
Recognise by: the distinctive two toned flowers on a dwarf plant.
Easy to root and grow. Smothers itself in very attractive two toned flowers.
